Terms of Use
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Prospect Arcade (“we”, “us”) about your use of Prospect Arcade (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use it for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you’re authorized to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
The service
Prospect Arcade takes an email address you once had for a past client and finds who it belongs to, where they work now, their career history and a work email, using third-party data providers. It also tracks open roles at the companies where your contacts work. Contacts you save are shared with everyone on your team.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and use the service for business purposes.
- Give accurate sign-up information and keep your password secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Team owners and admins control who is on their team and can remove members.
- Tell us promptly at privacy@prospectarcade.com if you think your account has been used without permission.
Acceptable use
Only look up people you have a genuine prior business relationship with. You agree not to:
- use the service, or anything it returns, to decide anyone’s eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing or similar purposes covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or comparable laws;
- stalk, harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or look someone up without a legitimate business reason;
- send email that breaks anti-spam and privacy laws such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, the GDPR or the ePrivacy rules: identify yourself honestly and honor every unsubscribe or opt-out;
- resell, publish or build a database of results for anyone outside your team;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer or get around the service’s limits or security;
- share your account, or use the service to break any law or anyone’s rights.
You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to process the information you look up and for how you use it. If a contact asks you to stop contacting them or to delete their information, you agree to do so.
Your content
You keep your rights in what you enter, such as email addresses, names, notes and logos, and give us permission to use it to provide the service to you and your team. You confirm you have the right to enter it.
Accuracy
Results come from third parties and public sources and can be wrong or out of date. An email address may have belonged to someone else, a match may be a namesake, and a “verified” email only means the mailbox accepted mail when it was checked. Check results, especially the career history and name match, before relying on them or reaching out.
Fees
The service is currently offered free of charge, and we may set limits on how much you can use it. If we introduce fees, we’ll tell you in advance, and paid features will only start once you agree to them.
Third-party services
The service relies on providers such as Supabase, Vercel, treg and the data sources behind it, and links to third-party sites like LinkedIn and company job boards. We aren’t responsible for their content or availability, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
Our rights
We own the service, its software and its design. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@prospectarcade.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering the service, and we’ll give notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as acceptable use, disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnity, continue after your access ends.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
You’ll defend and indemnify Prospect Arcade against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, the content you enter, how you use results, or your breach of these terms or the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We’ll post changes here and update the date above, and tell you in advance of material changes. Continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept them. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: privacy@prospectarcade.com.
